About the role

  • The Transaction Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end mortgage loan acquisition process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution.
  • This role manages the acquisition pipeline, resolves aged production issues, responds to diligence requests, and drives continuous improvement in systems and processes.
  • Additionally, the Transaction Manager supports client training and cultivates strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in operational acquisition and securitization, and a track record of addressing both business and technical challenges.
  • Success in this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive, analytical and detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive both independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office collaboration at our Bloomington, MN location Tuesday through Thursday, or as business needs require, and remote flexibility on other days.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in mortgage, investment banking, accounting, finance, or servicing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of origination, loan acquisition, pricing, securitization, whole loan sales, servicing, mortgage documents, and credit underwriting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Problem-Solving: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to manage and analyze data efficiently.
  • Project Management: Strong capabilities in business analysis, negotiation, and cross-functional communication.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal compliance requirements.
  • Work Style: Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, contribute in a collaborative team environment, and embrace continuous learning.
