About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report directly to the Vice President of Marketing
- Own platform and product feature go-to-market strategy and execution
- Work cross-functionally to differentiate Invicti’s web application security products from competitors
- Act as a product evangelist
- Organize and support product launches
- Research competitors, including current and planned offerings
- Develop buyer insights and understand buying decisions using market evidence
- Create positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and enables sales channels
- Collaborate with marketing to develop demand-generation programs
- Track performance and use data to evaluate effectiveness
- Present product value propositions and explain how products solve buyer problems
- Collaborate regularly with product managers and sales channels
- Balance stakeholder needs and provide diplomatic cross-functional influence
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally in cybersecurity, application security, cloud security, network security, or another highly technical software category
- Experience leading complex product and feature launches end to end, including positioning, messaging, launch planning, enablement, campaign coordination, execution, and measurement
- Portfolio demonstrating positioning and messaging frameworks, competitive intelligence, market narratives, thought leadership, videos, presentations, and pitch decks
- Ability to translate highly technical products and concepts into differentiated stories for C-level executives, security, DevOps, engineering, and development audiences
- Experience presenting in webinars, trainings, conferences, customer meetings, sales enablement sessions, and executive or company-wide forums
- Strong analyst relations experience, including analyst briefings, relationship building, and support for market reports and evaluations
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Demand Generation, Web, Brand Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and other teams
- Knowledge of market research, segmentation, competitive analysis, and market sizing, including TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses
- Experience developing sales enablement strategies and materials
- Analytical mindset using market evidence, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Organization, project management, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional workstreams
- Collaborative, intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable influencing without direct authority
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or IT, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Pricing and packaging strategy experience is strongly preferred
- Direct Application Security Testing experience, including DAST, API security, AppSec, or adjacent cybersecurity categories is nice to have
- Experience marketing to security leaders, AppSec professionals, developers, DevOps, or engineering audiences is nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud adoption, AI-assisted development, modern software development practices, and evolving security requirements is nice to have
