About the role
- Develop and deliver new features for our Salesforce applications, including Apex, LWC, and integrations
- Maintain existing Salesforce functionality, including Apex, legacy Aura components, and flows
- Configure and customize Salesforce environments to meet the needs of the development, QA, and implementation teams
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in production environments
- Assist in the design and delivery of complex product implementation requests
- Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Follow Salesforce best practices for development and security, as well as company standards for code quality
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with Salesforce in a technical role
- Familiarity with standard Salesforce design and architectural patterns
- Experience with all Salesforce configuration, including flows, custom metadata, profiles and permission sets, and sharing models
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, bulkification, and optimization for high volume environments
- Experience writing LWC components and javascript (ES6+)
- Experience writing Apex unit tests, batch/queueable Apex, and APIs
- An understanding of integration basics, such as security considerations, authentication processes (OAuth, Auth0), and API design
- Solid understanding of SOQL and Salesforce’s database model
- Experience with an IDE that supports Salesforce development and version control tools (Git/Github)
- Experience working with Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Experience working within an Agile development cycle
- Experience working in a collaborative environment and learning from others
- Demonstrated commitment to learning within the Salesforce space
