About the role
- Lead the end-to-end design process for a core product area with full ownership from early discovery through to polished handoff.
- As a key member of your sprint team, you’ll drive strategy and execution in step with Product and Engineering, shaping direction, unblocking progress, and ensuring every detail delivers on a cohesive, high-quality user experience.
- Evolve our design system by contributing reusable components, scalable patterns, and clear guidelines that support consistency across the platform.
- Deliver polished, accessible, and intuitive interfaces for both desktop and mobile experiences.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and ground your work in real needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on product strategy, define scope, and bring high-quality designs into production.
- Contribute to team rituals , design critiques, and documentation to level up our design culture and workflows.
- Ground your design decisions in real human insight.
- Connect directly with clients through one-on-one interviews and surveys to deeply understand their needs, uncover pain points, and validate assumptions early on.
- Measure and iterate on the success of your designs post-launch, using product analytics and user feedback to guide improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a portfolio that showcases effective, user-centered design across complex systems
- Have a background in graphic design, web design, or other related field
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity, scoping MVPs, and advocating for user needs in a fast-moving environment.
- Bring experience in B2B SaaS, Fintech, or other highly structured, data-heavy environments
- Communicate your design decisions clearly to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong visual design skills, with an eye for usability, consistency, and craft
- Have working knowledge of tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Understand design systems like Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design
- Have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS (enough to collaborate with engineers effectively)
