About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare test environments for access control solutions by configuring systems, devices, and the required rules to validate scenarios.
  • Execute manual functional, operational, exploratory, regression, and integration tests, considering real-world usage scenarios involving software, hardware, and business rules.
  • Develop and maintain test automation to support recurring validations, including APIs, UI, access rules, logs, and events.
  • Use AI tools to increase productivity in the QA process, supporting the creation of scenarios, test cases, documentation, log analysis, and test data generation.
  • Validate integrations with equipment such as controllers, turnstiles, vehicle barriers, facial readers, biometric readers, and RFID devices, ensuring correct communication, synchronization, and event logging.
  • Record, categorize, and track bugs, documenting evidence, reproducing failures, and validating fixes with technical teams.
  • Support acceptance testing and work closely with product, development, deployment, and project teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with manual testing
  • Experience with test automation
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON
  • Basic networking knowledge, such as IP, gateway, ping, and TCP/IP
  • Ability to prepare test environments
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for queries, record validation, and log analysis
  • Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, Robot Framework, or similar
  • Ability to record bugs clearly, provide evidence, and set priorities
  • Organized, investigative, analytical, and detail-oriented profile
  • Autonomy, technical curiosity, and a hands-on attitude
