About the role
- Work with regional and national partners to process transactions while ensuring business requirements are met in a timely manner
- Review corporate policies and procedures according to regulatory requirements
- Work closely with IT, price management, marketing, sales, and operations teams
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns
- Identify areas for improvements to enhance business efficiencies and reduce risks
- Utilize innovative ideas and tools to enhance operational effectiveness
- Organize, plan and execute internal and external audits
- Act as host for inspections/audits
- Identify and document evidence of compliance and non-compliance
- Write comprehensive reports and recommendations based on audit findings
- Evaluate and approve customer corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related studies
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in performing audits of regulated transactions in the electricity sector or in a similar environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize and present information
- Mastery of work tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Strong written and oral communication skills, in French and English
- Skills in interpersonal relations and great team spirit
- Accountability for work and attention to detail
- Electrical education/experience would be an asset
