About the role
- Data analysis and validation: Clean and verify complex datasets using statistical and stochastic models to ensure high data quality
- Algorithmic development: Design and develop complex algorithms to analyze very large datasets
- Data-driven system optimization: Develop data-driven strategies to ensure and continuously improve the functionality, performance, and security of highly complex systems
- Coordination and stakeholder management: Act as an interface between technical teams, project management, and clients
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Work in agile, interdisciplinary teams—both internally at INVENSITY and on-site with clients
- Knowledge sharing and mentoring: Share your expertise in workshops, coaching sessions, and projects while learning from other experts
- Personal and professional development: Grow in a technology-leading environment, build networks, and help shape innovations across diverse industries
Requirements
- Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or a comparable field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics
- Solid knowledge and practical experience processing large volumes of data and an understanding of statistical structures
- Excellent proficiency in Python
- Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow is a plus
- Willingness to travel for domestic project assignments at client sites
- Business-fluent German and fluent English
