About the role
- Data analysis and validation: Clean and validate complex datasets using statistical and stochastic models to ensure high data quality
- Algorithm development: Design and develop complex algorithms to analyze very large datasets. Develop data-driven strategies to ensure and optimize the functionality, performance, and safety of highly complex systems
- Generate impact: Implement condition-monitoring algorithms for safety-critical systems using complex sensor networks
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Work in agile, cross-functional teams—both internally at INVENSITY and on-site with clients
- Knowledge sharing and mentoring: Share your expertise in workshops, coaching sessions, and projects while also learning from other experts
- Personal and professional development: Grow in a technology-leading environment, build networks, and help drive innovation across diverse industries
Requirements
- Degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, electrical engineering, statistics, or a comparable field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data science
- Strong experience processing large datasets and a solid understanding of statistical structures
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow is a plus
- Enthusiasm for measurement technology and software development, with an interest in algorithms, sensors, predictive maintenance, and statistics
- Business-fluent German and fluent English
