About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Account Servicing Specialist serves a vital role in the onboarding and servicing of consumer mortgages and consumer auto finance accounts.
Executes the onboarding of loans serviced by University Bank, which includes posting initial funding and enrolling the loans in Tax Service.
Provide customer service for clients including research and follow up to resolve problems or concerns.
Performs file maintenance and system maintenance.
Manages collateral release functions with adherence to the Collateral Release Procedure.
Track and manage insurance policies for mortgage collateral including force placing insurance when necessary.
Executes the onboarding of the Smart Checking accounts.
Assists Smart Checking customers and Auto Finance customers with online banking enrollment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous banking/lending experience required.
Understanding of real estate loan documentation preferred.
Call center and In-Person customer service experience required.
Ability to manage highly confidential information.
Ability to understand complex lending and core banking software.
Ability to solve complex system maintenance problems.
