About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate network pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking.
- Identify, implement, and administer the Recruiting CRM for ULG.
- Schedule 3+ qualified presentations per week for Senior Leadership.
- Qualify prospects generated through outbound initiatives or marketing-driven inbounds.
- Drive attendance to MSA and Loan Officers in and out of our footprint on the West Coast.
- Act as a self-starter while leveraging cross-functional collaboration wherever appropriate.
- Sourcing MSA relationships and Production candidates.
- Work with ULG Leadership on establishing sourcing priorities and developing targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with ULG’s and University Bank’s internal and external recruiters.
- Seek out and identify MSA opportunities where ULG conducts business.
- Conduct regular and consistent follow-up with managers to determine the needs, plans and implementation of MSA and candidates in a predetermined market area.
- Develop a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Research and recommend new sources of proactive candidates.
- Conduct and pre-screen interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.
- Schedule interviews and provide timely follow up for ULG Leadership.
- Be an ambassador of the University Lending Group brand.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in mortgage related field; preferably sales management / recruiting experience.
- Excellent knowledge of mortgage and home equity products and GSE underwriting guidelines.
- Maintain & foster positive relationships with customers and business partners.
- Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
- Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining high degree of accuracy.
- Strong sales, leadership and management skills are essential.
- Mortgage origination experience required.
- Sales oriented, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills, and have a strong desire to succeed.
- Excellent customer service and follow up.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong team player, and self-motivated.
- Strong knowledge of and usage of Ellie Mae Encompass/ Modex and Motivity.
- Running Production reports.
- MS Word, Modex, MS Excel & MS Power Point.
- Create PDF files using company provided Adobe software.
- Ability to manage highly confidential information.
- Able to effectively problem solve.
