About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with IT management to develop and implement strategic plans for cloud-based Azure technology services
Provide leadership in the implementation, maintenance, and support of cloud-based systems
Evaluate existing IT and business technology systems
Partner with IT and non-IT management to understand technical needs and develop solution recommendations
Provide guidance on cloud-based licensing and support contracts
Implement technology solutions that ensure full integration into existing cloud-based IT infrastructure
Develop enterprise testing plans for integration of new cloud-based technologies
Own and manage cloud-based technology design, implementation, conversion, and upgrade initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar discipline highly preferred
6+ years of IT experience required
4+ years of cloud / Azure-based engineering experience
Experience managing Azure tenants, licensing, and provisioning.
Experience managing vendor relationships – contract reviews
Engineer-level knowledge of cloud-based Azure technologies including servers, workstations, databases, security, and identity management.
Advanced knowledge on Azure-hosted desktop provisioning, monitoring, and management
