About the role

  • Support and maintain the systems that power our internal AI tools and reporting engine
  • Work closely with cloud infrastructure, integrations, and data pipelines to ensure our platforms are reliable, secure, and well-documented
  • Maintain and support existing internal systems written in Python and running on Google Cloud
  • Monitor system health, investigating issues and responding to alerts across ingestion, processing, and reporting workflows
  • Support and optimize data ingestion pipelines that combine API-based and batch data from third-party partners and internal systems
  • Manage and maintain MongoDB data stores to ensure reliability, performance and schema consistency
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, credential errors, permission conflicts and data inconsistencies
  • Apply security best practices related to access controls, credentials and sensitive data handling
  • Collaborate with leadership to document system logic, explain technical behavior and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with external development partners as needed to support ongoing maintenance and updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
  • Experience using Python and JavaScript for scripting, debugging, and troubleshooting production systems
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud infrastructure in a business setting, including deploying and managing resources such as databases, network connections, credentials, and permissions
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred), including credential management, access controls, and security best practices
  • Experience working with API integrations and batch data ingestion processes
  • Hands-on experience debugging, maintaining, and enhancing existing production codebases
  • Experience working with data stored in MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases, including schema consistency and performance considerations
  • Ability to work with systems that handle sensitive or personal data and navigate layered permissions and organizational complexity
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Zapier, HubSpot, or similar integration platforms (nice to have)
  • Exposure to data ingestion pipelines, ETL processes, or reporting systems (nice to have)
