About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic and operational support to the Operations Manager (OM)
Ensure the efficient, safe, and profitable delivery of all Intrepid Travel experiences and business partner programs across Peru and Bolivia.
Manage and optimize day-to-day operations, including workforce planning, compliance, and quality assurance.
Assist in leader and guide scheduling, oversee adherence to Intrepid’s global standards including safety, crisis management, and responsible travel.
Ensure compliance with requirements from external partners.
Maintain active communication with leaders and guides, ensuring high-quality trip experiences and resolving on-the-ground issues.
Act as a key point of contact for guide suppliers and business partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective collaboration across all operational areas.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant tourism qualifications.
Experience traveling in Peru & Bolivia.
Travel industry work experience, particularly in operations in travel companies.
Experience in management coaching or training is desirable.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in both English and Spanish
Experience with administrative tasks, proficient in Microsoft Office, and skilled in utilizing new technologies such as PowerBI and artificial intelligence.
