About the role

  • Own the development, implementation and adoption of Intrepid’s data governance framework and policies.
  • Collaborate globally across the business to drive consistency in data definitions, master data management and data lineage practices.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all data assets.
  • Manage the creation and implementation of data governance strategies to support data-driven decision-making and mitigate risks to help achieve ambitious 2026 goals and beyond.

Requirements

  • Data Governance or related data certification, with proven experience leading governance initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in data governance and master data management.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ability to translate compliance requirements into actionable governance practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analytics, data lineage and data architecture.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire action, gain stakeholder buy-in, and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, capable of connecting governance initiatives to business objectives and driving data as a strategic asset.
