About the role
- Primary contact for the responsible real estate funds under German and, where applicable, Luxembourg investment law, and acting as a key-account contact for clients (i.e., external asset and fund managers as well as investors) in fund controlling
- Ongoing fund controlling in close coordination with internal departments: preparation, review and timely delivery of quality-assured investor reports (monthly, quarterly and annual reports)
- Preparation of performance evaluations and analyses at both property and fund level
- Support in the execution of capital measures and distributions
- Handling of ad‑hoc requests
- Additional fund-controlling tasks (depending on need and individual strengths): design and implementation or further development and optimization of automated fund-controlling tools and reporting solutions (bison.box / Excel / Power BI)
- Management of regulatory, fund-specific or real-estate-related special topics as a subject-matter specialist
- Taking on technical and/or functional responsibility for reporting solutions
- Support in ongoing projects to further develop fund-controlling instruments or data warehouse systems
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, real estate management or a related field
- Initial professional experience or internships in controlling within the real estate or financial industry or in audit
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Power Query or Power BI)
- Experience working with databases, database queries or reporting tools is desirable
- Strong interest in financial and real estate topics
- Strong understanding of processes and data, with a high affinity for numbers and IT
- Analytical and structured working style with a quick grasp of new topics
- Customer-oriented, communicative and independent working style
- Confident manner and presentation experience
- High level of self-motivation and initiative and enjoyment of teamwork
- Good English skills are an advantage
