About the role
- Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end machine learning solutions — from data ingestion and feature engineering to training, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Building scalable ML infrastructure and data pipelines to support real-time and batch inference at scale.
- Collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate ML models into customer-facing applications.
- Applying best practices in MLOps to ensure reliability, reproducibility, and monitoring of ML systems in production.
- Leveraging cloud platforms (primarily AWS) and IaC tools (e.g. Terraform) to deploy and manage ML infrastructure.
- Working with modern ML tooling such as feature stores, model registries, orchestration frameworks (e.g. Airflow), and vector databases.
- Exploring and applying advanced techniques including LLMs, embeddings, and recommendation systems to solve real-world business problems.
- Mentoring team members and contributing to the improvement of engineering and ML practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience working across the entire ML lifecycle: data pipelines, model training, and serving
- Strong programming skills in Python or Golang
- Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure components such as feature stores, model registries and vector databases (e.g. Weaviate, Pinecone)
- Experience with Model inference in real-time and batch settings
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (especially AWS)
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
- Knowledge of ML platforms like SageMaker, Orchestration frameworks (e.g. Airflow) and Big data systems (e.g. Databricks)
- Familiarity with LLMs, embedding-based retrieval, and recommendation systems is a plus
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship ML-powered product features.
