About the role
- Manage the review and verification of safety cases for offshore installations and well operations
- Lead a team of inspectors to ensure comprehensive coverage of all offshore assets
- Conduct detailed investigations into incidents or near-misses, providing technical recommendations for improvement
- Monitor industry trends to ensure local safety regulations remain aligned with global best practices
- Coordinate with environmental counterparts to ensure a holistic approach to offshore risk management
Requirements
- Significant experience in H&S management within the offshore oil and gas sector
- Deep technical knowledge of safety case regulations and risk assessment methodologies
- Previous experience working within or alongside a regulatory body is highly desirable
- Degree-level qualification in an engineering or safety-related discipline
- Excellent report-writing skills and attention to detail.
