About the role

  • Drive platform observability by leveraging advanced monitoring toolsets to ensure system health and performance
  • Maintain the integrity and availability of critical services, managing incidents from end-to-end and communicating with stakeholders
  • Advance automation across the ecosystem and act as a technical consultant for internal teams on complex operational challenges
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high-speed delivery and system reliability
  • Manage deployment processes, software versioning, and change management tasks to ensure smooth, secure rollouts
  • Incorporate security best practices into daily operations and identify gaps in existing processes to implement superior workflows
  • Support the maintenance and administration of documentation and service management platforms

Requirements

  • Solid experience in DevOps Engineering with a focus on platform operations, process analysis, and infrastructure optimisation
  • Strong technical knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native ecosystems, and GitOps principles
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Helm for managing multi-cluster environments
  • Proficiency in deployment and orchestration tools such as ArgoCD, Kyverno, or OpenTofu
  • Experience maintaining Git and CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab or Harness
  • Practical knowledge of Linux administration and scripting in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
  • Familiarity with observability tools and service management platforms like Jira Service Management
  • Previous experience with backup/restore solutions (e.g., Velero) or developer portals (e.g., Backstage) is highly regarded
  • Residency in the EU, EEC, UK, or Switzerland
