About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct literature searches and critically evaluate hazard and risk information for chemical products, including toxicology and ecotoxicology data.
- Prepare, translate and review technical documents related to chemical safety.
- Prepare and update product registrations and substance databases in the company’s internal system.
- Perform critical review of technical documents.
- Provide relevant technical information for projects, including:
- Preparation of hazard classification spreadsheets;
- Preparation of technical justifications for conducted research;
- Data collection to support project execution.
- Pursue training and technical updates through courses, seminars, lectures, study committees and by monitoring applicable standards and legislation.
- Present monthly reports of activities to the coordination team.
- Participate in internal study committees and technical meetings within the area.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields that include Toxicology in the curriculum.
- Previous experience preparing, reviewing and analyzing documents related to product safety and hazard classification, including SDS (Safety Data Sheets), emergency sheets and related documents.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Intermediate level of English.
- Intermediate level of Spanish.
