Sales Effectiveness Lead
Interstate BatteriesSales Effectiveness Lead at Interstate Batteries driving sales through engagement and development of sales teams. The role involves training, coaching, and measuring effectiveness of sales strategies.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drives sales through direct engagement and development of the local and regional sales team
- Serves as a consultant to the sellers, gathers and disseminates best practices
- Executes training programs, deal coaching, organizes market strikes within their regions
- Provides ongoing assistance as needed in content creation of core curriculum
- Plans and leads new representative training, onboarding, deal coaching, Sales Summits, Growth Clinics
- Performs monthly in-field ride alongs with Local Sales Members to evaluate seller strengths
- Measures and reports on the effectiveness of sales training and coaching investments
- Coaches and communicates with field sales leaders to ensure effective support of team members
- Travels 50% in field including Sales Summits, team meetings, and field work with sellers
- Provides monthly touchpoints with each seller within their region focused on relationship building
- Identifies best practices leveraged and potential ‘sales plays’ to share out to the system
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5+ years of Field Sales experience
- Experience with Salesforce and/or use of similar CRM
- Very strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in and manage ambiguity
- Understanding of sales process and its value
- Award winning hands-on sales experience preferred
- Excellent communications skills including presenting, editing, and writing as well as accuracy and attention to detail preferred
- Exposure/Knowledge of common sales methodologies and CRM preferred
