About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You independently process all posting entries in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting.
You code and post incoming and outgoing invoices, cash transactions and loan postings.
You are responsible for executing payment runs and managing the dunning process.
You prepare the monthly VAT (sales tax) returns.
You perform account reconciliation and clearing.
You actively contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
You contribute to the optimization of accounting processes and workflows.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A successfully completed commercial vocational training; further qualification as a financial accountant or certified balance-sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) is an advantage.
Solid commercial and business administration understanding.
Several years of professional experience in a demanding accounting role.
A high level of responsibility, strong communication skills, discretion, integrity and a precise, reliable working style.
Good IT skills and a confident command of MS Office.
Solid knowledge of the common DATEV applications is mandatory.
