About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Optimize and automate development and operations processes
- Automate and ensure the scalability of applications
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to improve our processes and software
- Manage cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Automate deployments and infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi
- Monitoring and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and cloud-based observability platforms like New Relic
- Collaborate with developers to optimize software delivery
- Develop self-services to automate processes within an existing cloud environment
- Provide self-services for users of a cloud platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of practical experience building and operating modern cloud platforms
- Solid hands-on experience in cloud computing, preferably Azure
- Several years of experience automating tasks using various scripting languages
- Deep knowledge of configuring and deploying containerized applications and orchestrating them with Kubernetes
- Proficient in using monitoring software
- Strong understanding of network architectures and firewalls
- Experience in software development with Java and with SRE practices (Site Reliability Engineering) is desirable
