About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the vision, priorities, governance and leadership alignment for the AI function.
Set the roadmap, keep delivery well-governed and value-focused, and act as the single senior point of accountability to executive sponsors.
Set priorities & roadmap — define and own the AI strategy, priorities and 12–24 month roadmap, aligned to business goals and the global AI agenda.
Own governance & reporting — establish and run portfolio governance, responsible-AI guardrails, risk and compliance, and executive value/ROI reporting.
Align with leadership — act as the primary interface to executive sponsors and global stakeholders; secure funding, manage expectations and report progress, risk and value.
Build and lead the team (Engineer, PMO Lead, AI Support and delivery pods); own org design, hiring, capacity planning and retention.
Own build/buy/partner decisions, the AI budget, and cloud and vendor relationships.
Drive use-case prioritization and value realization; remove blockers across legal, security, procurement and infrastructure.
Champion an AI-literate culture and responsible adoption across the organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 12+ years' experience across data / AI / engineering, with 4+ years leading and scaling technical teams.
Track record of taking AI / ML / GenAI solutions to production at enterprise scale.
Strong governance, risk and stakeholder-management skills with executive audiences.
Deep, current understanding of the GenAI, agentic and ML landscape.
Experience owning a portfolio, budget and roadmap.
Advanced degree in CS / ML / engineering or an MBA.
Education/experience lending itself to demonstrate strong commercial acumen: Minimum Post Graduation degree / MBA or equivalent professional course certification
