About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • End-to-end software delivery (build, change and improve)
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET applications
  • Support live systems through issue diagnosis, root cause analysis, and preventative fixes
  • Assist with migrating IIS-hosted applications to Azure App Services
  • Apply secure coding practices (access control, configuration, secrets handling)
  • Support team capability through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Senior-level .NET engineering experience
  • Strong commercial experience developing and supporting production systems using C# and the Microsoft .NET stack
  • Experience building web applications with ASP.NET Core
  • Hands on experience maintaining legacy ASP.NET applications (MVC)
  • Experience with Blazor Server and/or structured component approaches
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL object development
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs
  • Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and clear technical communication
  • Experience supporting live systems, troubleshooting incidents
  • Practical experience implementing authentication/authorisation using Microsoft identity platform / Entra ID
  • Security-conscious approach to development
