About the role

  • Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and performance against these to assess deal viability, valuation, and synergies.
  • Partner with legal, commercial, corporate development and special projects teams to structure transactions and mitigate financial risks.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Design and execute integration plans for acquired businesses or strategic expansions, ensuring alignment with Group financial policies and controls.
  • Standardize core finance processes across integrated entities.
  • Assess existing processes, identify gaps, and implement best practices.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in M&A, financial due diligence and integration / set-up of businesses.
  • Strong background in financial systems implementation and transformation projects.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to organic growth initiatives and capital investment projects.
  • Advanced financial modelling, ERP systems knowledge, and project management expertise.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity in complex situations.
  • Collaborative and influential, with a hands-on approach to delivery.
