About the role

  • Altour 24 provides VIP service and support to high-end clients that have travel needs outside of regular business hours.
  • Altour 24 aims to provide seamless, high-quality assistance to clients regardless of the time of day or day of the week.
  • Schedule Options: (all times Eastern): Saturday 1:00pm – 9:30p Sunday 12:00pm – 8:30pm Monday OFF Tuesday OFF Wednesday 5:00pm – 1:30am Thursday 5:00pm – 1:30am Friday 5:00pm – 1:30am OR Saturday 5:00pm – 1:30am Sunday 5:00pm – 1;30am Monday OFF Tuesday OFF Wednesday 5:00pm – 1:30am Thursday 5:00pm – 1:30am Friday 5:00pm – 1:30am
  • Makes travel arrangements with company-authorized air, hotel, car, and ground transportation vendors at best fares in a virtual environment.
  • Follows company procedures, guidelines, and standards in areas of customer service, building PNRs, and utilization of front room CRS productivity via calls and emails, attendance, accuracy of work, invoicing, etc.
  • May make domestic and international business travel arrangements; uses GDS; maintain lowest rates.
  • Provides consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers; completes all reservations accurately and timely.
  • Provides professional demeanor; comfortable interfacing with C-level executives.
  • Utilizes GDS low-fare search capabilities; ensures compliance with airline rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of travel agency experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the travel industry including proficiency in the Sabre CRS system
  • Will need training on Travelport +
  • Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality are required
  • Must be proficient and pass a GDS assessment
  • Proficient with international and domestic destination Geography
  • 3+ years of Customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry
  • Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach
  • Ability to handle multiple complex requests simultaneously and seamlessly
  • Comfort and experience working with C-level travelers
  • Mastery in Sabre GDS; Specifically: GDS formats, shortcuts, enhancements, pricing
  • Corporate travel experience required
  • Expert in international travel bookings and process
  • Excellent travel industry knowledge
  • Leadership Abilities: Has a strong understanding of own skill set and development opportunities; Acts as a leader among peers; Proactively offers support when ability matches need
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to peers and leaders when appropriate
  • Ability to work holidays that correspond with regularly scheduled workdays
  • Sedentary work; physical requirements: able to sit extended periods; repetitive motion; typing; etc.
