About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive new customer acquisition strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Analyze global market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and devise effective sales approaches.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and account management team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in securing sales growth and new clients through product proliferation.
- Drive the expansion of our market presence worldwide, exploring new geographic regions and partnerships to support growth in the client base and facilitate global opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in potential global clients, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, customer feedback, and market insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in sales, or operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the MICE industry or a related sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry, including global market dynamics, customer preferences, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with event management systems, technology, and trends.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful new customer acquisition strategies in a corporate environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a sales team to achieve and surpass ambitious targets.
- Exceptional sales acumen with a track record of closing high-value deals and driving revenue growth.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
- Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to analyze complex information, identify patterns, and develop actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving global business environment, with a strong appreciation for cultural diversity and international business practices.
- Ability to Travel Up to 50%
