Senior Manager, Budgeting and Forecasting

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Partner with program and department budget owners
- Manage the forecasting process
- Oversee the Budgeting and Forecasting team
- Analyze the financial performance of programs and operations
- Partner with the Accounting team
- Lead budget-to-actual variance reviews
- Support the CFO with board reporting
- Supervise and develop the Senior Accountant
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 8-10 years of experience
- Prior experience in budgeting and forecasting for a global non-profit organization is highly preferred
- Solid reporting and presentation skills preferred
- Excellent computer skills; advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with accounting, budgeting, and forecasting systems
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting standards, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Previous management experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism
- Must be proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
