About the role

  • Oversee the application and evolution of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all internal and external touchpoints.
  • Act as the primary guardian of the brand, providing guidance and feedback to internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop and update brand assets, templates, and toolkits as needed.
  • Manage internal resources, such as our digital asset manager and branded swag store.
  • Conceptualize and design a wide range of materials, including but not limited to event collateral, reports, infographics, social media graphics, illustrations, icons, video, and presentation decks.
  • Lead creative direction for high-impact projects, ensuring visually compelling and accessible design solutions.
  • Collaborate with communications team members and other stakeholders to produce cohesive, audience-centered visuals.
  • Apply accessibility standards (e.g., color contrast, legible typography, clear visual hierarchy) across all design outputs.
  • Partner with web and digital teams to guide user-centered design decisions, ensuring visual consistency and usability across digital properties.
  • Design visual concepts and wireframes for web layouts (for various screens), ensuring adherence to brand, accessibility, and responsiveness guidelines.
  • Work closely with strategic communications team members to support organizational goals through effective design.
  • Manage external creative vendors as needed, providing clear direction, feedback, and quality control.
  • Contribute to creative strategy, campaign planning, and brand-level initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand management, high-quality design work, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar).
  • Ability to create reusable templates for non-designers in Canva or Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and experience collaborating with web developers.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience designing with accessibility best practices and web-use guidelines.
