About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
  • Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients.
  • Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
  • Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times.
  • Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
  • Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Participating in mandatory WHS training as required.
  • Reporting any injury, hazard, or illness as soon as possible.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited EMT program
  • Previous EMT experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience
  • Occupational medicine experience (preferred)
  • EMT State Certification and/or National Registry
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • BLS
