Emergency Medical Technician
International SOSEmergency Medical Technician responding to medical emergencies for International SOS. Administering first aid and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
- Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients.
- Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
- Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times.
- Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
- Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Participating in mandatory WHS training as required.
- Reporting any injury, hazard, or illness as soon as possible.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited EMT program
- Previous EMT experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience
- Occupational medicine experience (preferred)
- EMT State Certification and/or National Registry
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- BLS
