Provide guidance to People & Culture functions across the LatAm region, ensuring high-quality delivery of P&C programs and operations to achieve organizational goals.
Collaborate with P&C, regional, and country program leadership to transform the region’s approach to culture, talent, and employee experience. Integrate Duty of Care support for staff wellbeing into regional P&C strategy.
Ensure progress, barriers, and enablers for Gender Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (GEDI), Safeguarding (SG), and Duty of Care (DoC) are part of regular leadership dialogue. Tailor organizational goals to the regional context, design strategic initiatives, track progress, and inform global priorities.
Partner with CRRD GEDI Team and country P&C functions to develop and implement context-relevant solutions, policies, and programs for underrepresented groups (women, SOGIESC, people with disabilities, LGBTIQ+, racial minorities), incorporating DoC and wellbeing.
Ensure best practices and legal compliance for recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and data reporting & analysis. Integrate staff wellbeing into these processes.
Collaborate with HQ Organizational Development to enhance organizational health, including optimal P&C structures.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and impact measurement, supported by people analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Support development and achievement of country program P&C priorities, linking regional and global P&C strategies.
Manage sensitive employee relations and complex matters, prioritizing staff wellbeing.
Lead, empower, and mentor team members, set clear expectations, co-create objectives, provide feedback, and support professional aspirations.
Lead and manage regional P&C projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive People & Culture/Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years at a regional or multi-country level
Experience supporting diverse employee groups across multiple organizational levels, cultures, and locations
Demonstrated success in both strategic and operational P&C roles
Strong understanding of social justice, equity, and inclusion
Experience in humanitarian, emergency response, or complex organizational environments preferred
Ability to work, manage, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; outstanding business acumen, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills required
