About the role
- Support sales efforts of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Client Development Managers (CDEs), focusing 80% on BDMs and 20% on CDEs
- Assist with new customer activations, business development, and growth of wholesale and principal agent loan volume
- Act as primary support liaison for service-related and loan-level action items
- Monitor and oversee inbound and outbound communications for Lender Support phone and e-mail inboxes, ensuring SLAs are met
- Serve as relationship backup for BDMs and CDEs during absences
- Follow-up and complete incomplete loans submitted to Intake
- Provide client assistance with LOS (PORTAL, QuantumReverse, Reverse Vision) – credentials, navigation, loan creation and loan status
- Support counterparty approval/recertification processes and follow up on outstanding items
- Conduct ad-hoc Loan Officer training and education
- Generate and manage case assignments, validations, cancellations, and transfers to other lenders
- Participate in new client launch calls and staff additions as requested
- Submit help desk tickets and maintain account ownership records in HELOS, PORTAL, QuantumReverse, ReverseVision, Surge, and other systems
- Handle XML system uploads on first appraisals and servicing-related issues to meet SLAs
- Support prospecting and ad-hoc sales/administration tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 -5 years of mortgage sales experience or experience in a related field
- Strong customer service background and experience building interpersonal relationships
- Proficiency in engaging with salespeople and supporting associates
- Proficiency in mortgage lending operational and service strategies
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to plan and organize projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Must possess good judgment, leadership and business skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to be a creative, flexible and innovative team player
- Must pass the Company's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment
- May be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements
