About the role

  • Coordinate and track audit and assurance workplans, including scheduling fieldwork, meetings, and reporting milestones;
  • Support annual and quarterly audit planning through data gathering, documentation, and calendar coordination;
  • Maintain audit calendars, trackers, and status dashboards to ensure visibility and timely progress of assurance activities;
  • Support coordination of assurance maturity and expansion initiatives, including framework development, tools, and process improvements;
  • Maintain centralized documentation, templates, trackers, and version-controlled audit records;
  • Support preparation and formatting of reports, dashboards, and executive materials for leadership review;
  • Facilitate communication across global and regional assurance teams, including meeting notes and follow-up on action items;
  • Assist with audit tools and systems maintenance, testing, and coordination with IT or vendors;
  • Participation in IJM’s community of spiritual formation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, audit support, or a similar role, preferably in a global or nonprofit environment
  • Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with audit, compliance, or risk management concepts preferred.
