About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and manage servers
- Maintain internal monitoring systems
- Further develop and maintain the IT infrastructure
- Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Integrate and further develop security checks in CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests
- Manage secrets and secure credential administration
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001 and the GDPR
- Conduct threat modeling and assess security risks at an early stage
- Document processes and infrastructure
- Monitor current trends and introduce new tools and best practices
- Advise colleagues on security-related matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training or degree in IT (e.g., computer science or business informatics), or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of Linux server administration
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and operating them securely
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Good understanding of networks, firewalls, and common security concepts
