About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor and manage servers
Maintain internal monitoring systems
Further develop and maintain the IT infrastructure
Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Integrate and further develop security checks in CI/CD pipelines
Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests
Manage secrets and secure credential administration
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001 and the GDPR
Conduct threat modeling and assess security risks at an early stage
Document processes and infrastructure
Monitor current trends and introduce new tools and best practices
Advise colleagues on security-related matters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training or degree in IT (e.g., computer science or business informatics), or equivalent practical experience
Strong knowledge of Linux server administration
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and operating them securely
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
Good understanding of networks, firewalls, and common security concepts
