About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain financial models to support business forecasting and planning processes.
- Analyze and interpret financial data, financial statements, and key performance indicators.
- Provide financial support for business decision-making by evaluating financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and cost savings initiatives.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as needed.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting tools to provide visibility into business performance.
- Ensure financial data integrity and accuracy by maintaining financial data systems and controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong operational accounting background in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated courtesy and patience in customer relations.
- Must have excellent problem solving and decision making skills; with demonstrated experience of ability to problem solve, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- High degree of dependability and reliability are essential.
- Clear and succinct communications skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiar with accounting principles under GAAP.
- Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Experience in construction or real estate industry preferred, but not required - Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
