About the role
- Develop and expand relationships with builders, contractors, and key decision-makers
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and market development
- Build and manage a sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
- Manage pricing strategies, product assortments, and service solutions aligned with customer needs
- Address and resolve escalated customer issues when necessary
- Support operational performance across the assigned market to ensure service quality, efficiency, and accountability
- Coordinate with design, operations, logistics, and production teams to ensure successful project execution
- Identify operational improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
- Monitor sales performance, operational metrics, and financial results within the market
- Develop forecasts and account plans to support revenue growth
- Identify market trends, competitive activity, and expansion opportunities
- Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational execution
- Support the development of a collaborative, high-performing local team
- Contribute to company initiatives that improve market performance and customer experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or market leadership roles
- Proven ability to develop business relationships and drive revenue growth
- Experience working with single-family homebuilders
- Background in construction, building materials, or related industries
- Strong sales and relationship-building capabilities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to balance sales execution with operational coordination
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Financial and analytical awareness related to revenue, margin, and performance metrics
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
