About the role

  • Installation, maintenance, updates and administration of SPRIND’s systems and devices in accordance with strategic and technical guidelines, in cooperation with the various teams
  • Maintenance of conference systems
  • Password and key management (logins as well as hardware and software tokens)
  • Mobile Device Management for Apple devices
  • Handling warranty or product safety cases with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Onboarding and support of SPRIND colleagues with hardware and software, including receiving and prioritizing support requests
  • Problem analysis, assessment and resolution, as well as coordination and documentation of solution processes
  • Participation in procurement processes and design of new systems and processes

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent qualification, each combined with initial practical or professional experience
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience with common server, desktop and mobile operating systems (e.g. macOS, iOS, Ubuntu, Windows, Debian, Docker)
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and practical experience with Mobile Device Management for Apple devices (Jamf and Apple Business Manager)
  • Experience with network topologies and virtual networks
  • Knowledge and practical experience in domain administration and DNS, as well as IT security topics (e.g. encryption, firewalls, system hardening)
  • Structured and careful working style with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Reliability and service orientation
  • Enthusiasm for independently learning new subject areas
  • Very good German and business-fluent English
