About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Lead Design Manager plays a key role in shaping the future of Interface’s resilient product portfolio.
Responsible for leading resilient design strategy and creating innovative designs and colorways.
Working within a global design team to develop new products for global and regional markets.
Guide the Senior Designer on projects and professional development, ensuring alignment with Interface values.
Deliver solutions that support the New Product Development (NPD) process on time and within budget.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in textile or surface design.
Minimum 3 years of people leadership.
Proficiency with design systems and strong understanding of resilient manufacturing processes.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Pointcarre or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrate ability in creating production-ready designs and color ranges for rotogravure printing, digital printing, and embossing.
Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes for printing, embossing, and other design disciplines.
Knowledge of commercial product performance needs and standards.
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
