About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and HR Managers to deliver comprehensive HR support with a strong focus on non-wired production employees operating across three shifts
  • Serve as a resource for managers and employees on HR-related inquiries
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and practices
  • Provide timely, accurate, and legally compliant guidance on employee relations matters
  • Conduct fair, thorough, and timely investigations
  • Coach managers and employees on policy interpretation, performance management, and corrective action
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing leaders to facilitate bi-weekly attendance meetings
  • Conduct weekly attendance case reviews
  • Review and standardize corrective actions to ensure consistency and clarity of expectations
  • Partner with Safety Managers to review incidents and determine appropriate actions
  • Provide leadership as Chair of the Joe Kyle Scholarship Committee, overseeing program governance, selection integrity, and continuous improvement of the scholarship process
  • Manage the Tuition Reimbursement Program end-to-end, driving compliance, operational efficiency, and employee engagement with development opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support HR operations and organizational goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of formal college education and professional HR experience will be considered
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4+ years of successful professional HR experience, including but not limited to onboarding, employee relations, attendance administration, policy management and compliance
  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential matters professionally
  • Ability to manage a high volume of priorities simultaneously with accuracy and urgency
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work independently while collaborating effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and business writing
