About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the financial services, law and business industries, guiding team members to achieve excellence and drive results.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial services, law, and business clients, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring delivery of high-quality PR services.
- Develop comprehensive PR strategies tailored to each client's objectives and target audience, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
- Oversee the implementation of PR campaigns, including media relations, thought leadership initiatives, crisis communications, and executive visibility programs.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team of PR professionals specializing in financial services, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with key financial, law, and business media contacts, securing impactful placements in top-tier outlets and financial publications.
- Position clients as industry thought leaders through strategic content development, speaking opportunities, and participation in relevant industry events and conferences.
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to safeguard clients' reputation and mitigate reputational risks in the event of crises or negative publicity.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 15 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on financial services, law, business or related industries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing PR campaigns for financial services, law or business clients, with measurable results in media placements and client satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the financial services industry, including banking, wealth management, fintech, and insurance sectors.
- Extensive network of media contacts and industry connections within the financial services, law or business sector.
- Results-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
