Junior Business Systems Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the operations team to ensure the WMS is properly configured, maintained, and optimized for cold and dry storage operations.
- Serve as a day-to-day liaison between warehouse operations and IT, communicating clearly with leadership, functional teams, and external vendors and customers.
- Create and manage project and break-fix tickets in the ticketing system, prioritizing by need and urgency and taking appropriate action.
- Assist in troubleshooting system issues and resolving data discrepancies.
- Participate in an On-call Rotation for after-hours support.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving system configuration, integrations, MOCA/SQL queries, and overall system performance.
- Assist in and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features, upgrades, and changes.
- Adhere to change-management protocols.
- Create and maintain documentation and knowledge-base articles.
- Build and maintain working knowledge of business processes and the systemic use of the Blue Yonder family of products.
- Develop an understanding of complex systems and integrations.
- Envision ways in which business systems can advance organizational goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of study in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong data analysis and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, Android, and common desktop applications.
- Flexibility to act quickly and make changes in short timeframes to support operations.
- Willingness to work with outside vendors for IT assistance as needed.
- An appreciation for the value of IT in a warehouse / distribution environment.
- Willingness to work occasional after-hours and weekends.
- Openness to occasional travel to remote facilities as required.
- Experience in third-party logistics (3PL) (preferred).
- Experience with the Blue Yonder family of products (WMS) (preferred).
- Exposure to SQL and/or MOCA commands (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred).
- Experience with LextEdit or a similar tool (preferred).
- Experience with the Blue Yonder Trace Profiler (preferred).
