About the role
- Lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting processes across all business units.
- Build dynamic financial and operating models to evaluate growth strategies, operational initiatives, and investment opportunities.
- Partner with the CFO and leadership team to translate strategic initiatives into measurable key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide timely, data-driven insights on revenue and profitability trends.
- Develop KPIs to monitor business health and drive accountability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, helping them identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency and align financial performance with business objectives.
- Partner with IT, Operations, and Claims leadership to modernize reporting infrastructure, automate processes, and implement new FP&A tools.
- Prepare financial reporting and presentations for the Executive Team, Board of Directors and investors/lenders.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial and operational data across systems and reporting platforms.
- Lead a small but growing team, developing talent and building analytical capabilities across the finance organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, including leadership roles in insurance, TPA, or healthcare services industries
- Deep understanding of Workers’ Compensation, Corporate Liability, or Risk Management financial dynamics
- Proven track record of leading FP&A functions through growth, transformation, or system modernization
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills—able to simplify complexity and influence at all levels
- Proficiency with ERP and BI tools (e.g., NetSuite, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau).
