About the role
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security breaches.
- Analyze security incidents and determine appropriate response actions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents and investigations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT or cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CISSP are a plus.
