Senior Sales Manager – Display Prospecting, Retargeting

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You independently acquire new clients across the DACH media agency landscape — no lead lists, no micromanagement
- You leverage your existing network within media agencies as your initial engine and systematically expand it
- You run initial meetings, pitches and closing conversations at Senior and C-level autonomously
- You persuasively explain our full-funnel model — from CPM and CPV in the upper funnel to CPO, CPL and CPC in the lower funnel — and demonstrate how we take full performance responsibility across the entire funnel
- You qualify your own pipeline, report weekly to the executive management and are the revenue owner for your accounts
- You actively use industry events (OMR, dmexco, Ad Summit) for networking and new business development
- You work directly with the CEO — short decision paths and real decision-making authority
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in display advertising, programmatic, retargeting or AdTech — not a theorist, not a junior pretending to be senior
- Proven closes at media agencies within the last 12 months. We will ask for specifics. With numbers.
- An existing, actively usable network in at least 2–3 of the major media holdings/networks (WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Dentsu, Havas, Mediaplus, pilot) — not merely LinkedIn contacts but real, reachable counterparts
- Understanding of programmatic media buying, DV360 and full-funnel KPIs (CPM, CPV, CPO, CPL, ROAS); you don’t need to operate the platforms but must be able to explain them convincingly
- German at native-speaker level — the DACH market is your home
- Hunter mentality: you prospect, you close, and your growth is tied to your revenue, not your title
