About the role

  • Design and execute detailed test cases for backend, frontend, and mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Validate data integrity and backend functionality using SQL queries.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design by supporting WCAG compliance testing.
  • Provide feedback on usability and user experience from a testing perspective.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help evolve the testing strategy.
  • Support knowledge sharing within the QA team and across departments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing.
  • Experience testing .NET Core backends, ReactJS frontends, and/or React Native mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of API testing and data validation using SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).
  • Knowledge of WCAG standards and accessibility testing is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of software development and QA processes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into the release cycle.
