About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently manage our financial operations
Trusted with all financial information and elevate it
Run the preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV
Manage Accounts Payable – Booking, checking, and paying supplier invoices
Manage Accounts Receivable – Preparing 200+ monthly customer invoices, booking payments, and following up on overdue payments
Conduct preparatory tasks for tax declarations, ensuring timely submission to the tax advisor
Work closely with the tax advisor for financial year-end closing
Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and risks, providing strategic financial insights to management
Budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the Chief of Staff
Ensure internal controls and compliance with legal regulations
Work with tax advisors and support audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive experience in German accounting and tax regulations
Financial analysis and reporting skills are important
Strong, proven experience with DATEV (preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV is essential)
Experience in working with Salesforce is a big plus
Analytical and structured mindset with great attention to detail
Independent working style and ability to set priorities
Experience in controlling is an advantage
Interest in new technologies and continuous learning
Proactive, collaborative and agile working style
Fluent in German and English.
