About the role
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing guidance on export processes and documentation;
- Act as an intermediary for operations with carriers, freight forwarders and shipowners;
- Monitor deliveries in customs zones and keep clients informed about the progress of operations;
- Analyze and prepare documents such as Nota Fiscal (Brazilian tax invoice), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Draft Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), CRT, VGM, among others;
- Request bookings for sea and air shipments, and arrange road transport when necessary;
- File DUE and LPCO and follow up on processes with the Brazilian Federal Revenue (Receita Federal);
- Verify tariff classification of goods and support compliance with current legislation;
- Monitor customs transit operations (DAT);
- Control operational deadlines (draft, VGM, ISF, among others) to avoid penalties;
- Prepare documents such as Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, OIC, etc.;
- Coordinate the sending and collection of documents (BL, AWB and others);
- Request payments and track process-related expenses;
- Keep systems and controls up to date, performing follow-up with clients;
- Work on specific processes (e.g.: refrigerated cargo, coffee, early shipments);
- Support general department demands as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience with export processes;
- Reside in Varginha or nearby cities;
- Knowledge of international documentation and customs procedures;
- Familiarity with Brazilian Federal Revenue systems (DUE, LPCO);
- Behavioral skills: Good communication and organization; Strong interpersonal skills; Focused attention and a high level of organization; Proactivity and quick adaptation to new situations; Ability to work under pressure while maintaining good performance.
