About the role

  • Development of cloud applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) framework, using JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Modeling data structures using Core Data Services (CDS)
  • Developing and exposing OData services (V2/V4) for external and internal systems
  • Building user-friendly interfaces with SAP Fiori Elements
  • Developing on and using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Creating, maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments
  • Close collaboration with architecture, project and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensuring code quality, testing and best practices across the development process

Requirements

  • Several years' experience developing with SAP CAP (Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript)
  • Solid knowledge of CDS (Core Data Services)
  • Experience with OData services (V2/V4) and API design
  • Experience with Fiori Elements or SAP UI technologies
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP and its services
  • Very good German and good English skills.
