Full-stack Engineer

• Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) (Houston, TX) seeks a Manager of Software Engineering responsible for team productivity and career development, and executing the NLP and GenAI strategy aligned with product and technology roadmap.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of AI and NLP solutions, ensuring scalability, high availability, compliance, and security in line with industry standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and other relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI and NLP strategies, aligning technical efforts with business objectives.
• Lead research initiatives on Large Language Models (LLMs), exploring novel architectures, techniques, and methodologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to integrate research findings into practical, user-centric applications.
• Provide strategic direction for the adoption and integration of cutting-edge AI technologies.
• Establish and maintain best practices for AI/ML and NLP development, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance of AI-driven products.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary oversight, ensuring projects deliver high ROI and positively impact product functionality and user experience.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle while mentoring engineers and guiding team growth and performance
• Lead by example in designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable, distributed and responsive web applications
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high quality code
• Architect and implement robust end-to-end tests, component tests and unit tests
• Be comfortable navigating AI technologies (Agents, Prompt Engineering, LLMs) and identifying practical ways to apply them

• Build a deep understanding of the healthcare data quality needs of IMO Health customers and prospects, including channel nuances
• Identify, prioritize, and fill gaps in foundational terminology capabilities to support IMO Health solution development
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical/operational enhancements enabling more efficient solution development and delivery
