About the role
- Develop and maintain Shopify storefronts using the **Liquid** templating language, **HTML5, SCSS/CSS3**, and **JavaScript (ES6+)**.
- Ensure all themes and custom sections are fully **responsive** and optimized for various devices and browsers.
- Participate in migrating the old platform user flows to a Shopify-based one.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional development and product teams to accurately implement design mockups and specifications.
- Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps, themes, and services.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve front-end issues to maintain site stability and performance.
- Optimize theme code for maximum speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Utilize **Git** for version control and adhere to established coding standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience developing and customizing **Shopify themes**.
- Expert proficiency with the **Liquid templating language**.
- Strong command of **HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including vanilla JS and/or jQuery**.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem, including its AJAX APIs, Storefront API, and Theme Editor.
- Experience with development tools like **Shopify CLI** or **Theme Kit**.
- **English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.**
